Whitney Waugh is an independent dance artist, specializing in contemporary/modern dance technique, education, performance, choreography, and healing through holistic and somatic approaches to the body.

Growing up mainly in Tennessee, her love for dance came a bit later in life. As an athlete, she decided to get her fine art credit in high school by taking a beginner dance class. Unbeknownst to her, she would fall in love with it. More importantly, dance would save her life.  By accident she came into the dance world, and by intention she has made dance and movement a burning passion, an everlasting commitment, and a life purpose.
